Two mouse tales

Our fabulous fourth grade students have been at it again!  Cricket in Times Square is one of my all time favorite books - I'm so glad kids are still reading this oldie but goodie.  Geronimo Stilton is one of your all time favorite series, I'm so thrilled that someone wrote a review for it.

A Cricket in Times Square by George Selden
How did Chester, a tiny countryside cricket get from Connecticut to Times Square in New York City?
In a picnic basket of course!
How are Tucker a mouse, and Harry a cat best friends?
They live in the same drainpipe!
How did a mouse and a cat help make a cricket famous and save a family?
You’ll have to read the book to find out.

This book is about a country cricket and all the adventures and friends he makes on the way. This book is also about a poor family that is struggling and a tiny cricket who helps them be rich and famous in the subway station.

This book made me really care about the characters. There were some funny parts and some sad parts
I recommend this book to people who like friendship and fantasy books, and to boys and girls  of all ages.

Mr. Geronimoʼs day did not start off like he expected it would. Mr. Geronimo had to go in his nephew Benjaminʼs class for career day. He got into a lot of mischief! He got stuck in the playground tunnel, he exploded a classmateʼs volcano project, and accidentally let the class pet gecko out of his cage! This book hooked me in immediately! I recommend reading this book to find out how Mr. Geronimo gets out of this mess before the teacher returns!
